Applying Professional Scrum training - English

IS THE PROFESSIONAL SCRUM MASTER TRAINING COURSE SUITABLE FOR ME?
The Applying Professional Scrum training is suitable for you if you:

• Are part of a Scrum Team as a Developer or work with Scrum Teams;
• Want a valuable training about Scrum with your entire Scrum Team;
• Looking for a hands-on, practical training where you can experience Scrum;
• Want to take the PSM I exam and be well prepared. This exam and associated certificate are identical to the one of the Professional Scrum Master training.

 
You do not need to have taken any entry-level training to successfully participate in this training course. If you fulfill the Product Owner or Scrum Master role, our Professional Scrum Product Owner training or Professional Scrum Master training course might be of interest to you.  If you want to be sure whether you have the right prior knowledge or if you are not sure which training is most suitable for you, please feel free to contact us.

LEARNING GOALS

• Learn about Agility and how Scrum differs from traditional plan-based work;
• Develop an Agile mindset by focusing on professionalism, experimentation and results;
• Learn (or relearn) the basic principles of Scrum and how to apply them correctly;
• Develop an understanding of what it is like to use Scrum and whether it is suitable for your team;
• Learn how to be a great Scrum team member or how to support a great Scrum team;
• Leave the class with ways to identify common pitfalls and how to avoid them;
• You will use a set of proven practices during the class that can be used to improve the use of Scrum;
• Leave with tools to help identify the first steps in applying Professional Scrum with your team.

 
WHAT DO I GET?
In addition to a five-star experience from us, you will also receive help during the training course to become (even) better in your role. This includes:

• One year access to our online learning environment: Your source of information for everything related to the training course;
• An interactive E-Learning in this learning environment, before the training course to be well prepared to get started;
• During the training course everything will be taken care of: your parking costs will be reimbursed, you will receive a luxurious personal Prowareness notebook, lunch is provided and additional snacks and drinks are offered to keep you energetic and fit throughout the days;
• A Scrum.org accredited Professional Scrum Trainer with solid practical experience who teaches the training course; 
• All the teaching materials used in the learning environment: Presentations, photos of flipcharts that are created during the course;
• Preparatory material for the Scrum.org PSM I exam in the learning environment: Blog posts, videos, and other recommendations;
• Code and instructions for the Scrum.org PSM I exam including a free second attempt if the first attempt is made within two weeks of training.

 
EXAM
As part of the training course you will be sent an exam code from Scrum.org for the PSM I Exam. You will receive this code within 48 hours after finishing the training course and it has no expiry date. The exam can be taken online at any time. 
Note: the exam code is only valid once. If you participate in the exam within 14 days of receiving the code and do not achieve the required score of 85% to pass, Scrum.org will give you a one-time free second attempt! If you participate in the exam after 14 days after the training, this one-time gift will expire. A new exam code must then be requested from Scrum.org. The costs of this and any other additional attempt is not included in the training course.

VAT
This amount is exempt from sales tax based on CRKBO registration under article 11-1-o sub 2 of the Dutch Sales Tax Law 1968.
